The Many Ways to Give to ReQuip

Volunteer

Make a Difference in Our Community With ReQuip. We need volunteers to help receive donated Medical Supplies and Equipment and distribute them to those who need them at no cost.

  • Weekly hours are Tuesdays from 10-2 pm, and you can join us for any portion of that time.

  • We are located at the Peace Center: 111 Fairmount Ave., Oakland, 94611, Room 303.

  • You will receive training on how to receive donated equipment and supplies, inspect, sort, clean, and store them as needed. You will initially work with an experienced volunteer to identify the equipment and supplies and learn how to work with community members who come to us to receive what they need.

We need volunteers on Tuesdays from 10-2. Are you available during that time? Please indicate your availability during those 4 hours.
We also need help with tech support and picking up/dropping off supplies. If you are interested in helping with either or both, please indicate below.

Donate Medical Equipment & Supplies

We accept donations of clean, immediately usable items on Tuesdays from 10-2. There is a steady need for rollators  (wheeled walkers with seats), wheelchairs, personal hygiene supplies, incontinence products and chux pads. We reserve the right to check all donations before they are accepted. Please bring your item(s) to The Peace Center, 111 Fairmount, Avenue, Oakland on Tuesdays between 10 AM - 2 PM.
